Discontent has erupted among World of Warcraft Classic players following recent changes implemented on the Classic Era and Hardcore servers. These alterations seemingly contradict Blizzard's initial promise of a "No Changes" experience for these servers.

On July 9, World of Warcraft Classic underwent a lengthy maintenance period to prepare for Phase 4 of Season of Discovery. After the servers went back online, players discovered unintended bugs that mirrored changes introduced in Season of Discovery. These included a new Paladin quest offering Divine Steed and Might of Stormwind, an Alliance version of the Warchief's Blessing buff.

This news did not sit well with many Classic players, prompting calls for Blizzard to revert the changes.

WoW content creator Kargoz, a dedicated Classic player, spearheaded the movement by launching a petition on Change.org. He argues that "the original Vanilla WoW formula is a proven success," emphasizing the desire for an authentic experience. Kargoz further stresses that Blizzard's creation of Classic Era servers aimed to preserve the original game in an unaltered state.

Kargoz's perspective resonates with many players. The petition has garnered over 2,000 signatures in under two days, reflecting widespread concern about the direction of the Classic Era servers.
